March 8: The bad mother posted by: Writing in The Book
for March 8 in Brescia Women's Day is not just an anniversary. In addition to the mandatory mimosas, the Dairy Molloy (via B. Maggi) will be shown photographs of Rinaldo and Capra's book The poor mother from which it derives. A double project, between photography and writing, that tells the meaning of mothering today.
What women feel when it comes to maternity far from the stereotypes?
How are followed, cured, do you recommend?
What are the real support and incentives for motherhood and the family?
Other examples exist in other European countries, from which we learn?
There are new ways of thinking about women, their health, their role in society, the world of work and the family?
The collective of young writers composed Arianna Chieli, Irene Panighetti Ghidinelli, Balotelli and Sara Stefania Balsamo, co-ordinated by Nadiolinda, recounts the odyssey of motherhood with the clear intention to be 'useful'. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to The Women's House of Brescia, a group of volunteers active in the area.
